Classic Aire™
can be equipped with the optional Puristat™. The Puristat™
will sensor your air quality for minute levels of odors and toxic
pollutants and automatically signal the system to activate the oxidation
process.
It will effectively treat up to 3,500 sq. ft.. When in operation, The unit will control all odors and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) rendering them odor free. Odors from upholstery, moldy cellars, craw spaces, bedding, closets, musty drawers, food odors, pet odors, as well as tobacco products will be neutralized. Inadequate ventilation, plastic off-gassing and new or old carpeting all conspire to create both organic and inorganic odor and toxic pollutants in all sleeping and living quarters can also be controlled.
This unit is outfitted with an 80cfm fan to circulate and mix ozone with the ambient air. Ozone does not cover-up odors. It oxidizes all compounds in the air.
When ordered with the optional Puristat air quality monitor, the unit only purifies the air when minute levels of odors and toxic pollutants are present. The unit remains in a standby mode monitoring the air when there is no pollutants present.
The unit operates on 110Vac or 12Vdc power allowing it to be used in any situation. International power adaptation is an option. The unit can also be used in autos, RV's, truck sleepers or motor homes and marine applications.
Covered
by a Full Year Limited Warranty and made in the USA. The unit requires no
maintenance.
Cost Comparison to Hepa Filter Systems
Quantum's Air treatment Systems require little or no maintenance. The corona discharge plates are self cleaning and the filters are washable and re-usable.
Most Hepa filter Systems have
both a pre-filter and a main Hepa filter.
Pre-filters cost between $14.00 and $40.00 depending on the brand and
model. The pre-filters life-span is between 3-6 months.
The main Hepa filter cost between $50.00 and $100.00 with recommended
replacement time of 6months to one year.
