Sensored Units from Quantum Pure Aire.

"As a thermostat regulates  temperature, the Puristat™ regulates air quality."

The Puristat™  Air Quality Monitor is a truly remarkable technology which will enhance the performance of your Quantum Air Treatment System.

The Puristat will sensor your air quality for minute levels of odors and toxic pollutants and automatically signal the system to activate the oxidation process.

.
When equipped with the optional Puristat® sensor, the unit will function automatically as well as manually. This device will detect minute levels of odor and toxic pollutants and automatically signals the system to begin the cleaning process.

This is a partial list of over 100 Detectable VOC's and Gases.
Ammonia, Acetone, Benzene, Butane, Carbon Tetrachloride, Cloro Benzene, Carbon Monoxide, Chloroform, Diethylimine, Ethane, Ethyl Acetate, Ethel Alcohol, Ethel Chloride,  Formalehyde, Formic Acid, Hepane, Hexane, Hydrogren Gas, Hydrogen Sulfide, Methane, Propane, etc.

A series of LED indicator lights inform you of the presence of impurities, the level of pollutant contamination and the neutralization of the impurities ---- Automatically!

This technology is only available through Quantum Pure Aire. With the Puristat®, the only time the unit will activate is when there are impurities in the environment!
  How it works:

The monitor operates on the principle of thin film, metal oxide technology long used by industry to detect dangerous gases and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) in manufacturing processes.  Like fingerprints, every gas and VOC has its own detectable electronic signature.  When in operation, the sensor circuitry, instantaneously and cumulatively detects and stores these signatures until a limit microamps is reached.  When the limit is reached, the circuit sends an electronic directive through a microprocessor to the solid state ozone generator.  This signal turns on the generator which in turn produces ozone.

As the ozone works to chemically oxidize unwanted VOC's and odors the sensor continuously monitors the change in the air quality.  When the impurities are naturalized the sensor alerts its signal to the microprocessor and shuts down the production of ozone.  When the clean environment is achieved, the sensor stands down to a sentinel mode to wait for another increase in pollutants.  When new impurities are detected, the process begins once again.

We realize that there are times when for special applications you may wish to operate your unit in a manual mode, so we have designed the circuit to accommodate manual as well as automatic operations.

Lights on the face plate let you monitor the unit's operation.

  • Contaminant Status
Present - lets you know there are contaminants in the air.
    Neutralized - no contaminants present
High - unit operating at maximum, high level of contaminants present.
Medium - unit operating at medium level
Low - contaminant level low, unit operating at lowest level.

  • Operational Status
O3 Active - the unit is generating 03.
    On / Off Knob
Auto / Manual Knob - unit can be operated fully automatic or manually with control of fan speed.
